La Parada del Cid is located in a village of Burgos called Espinosa de Cervera, in the slopes of the Cervera Rocks area at an altitude of 1.000 metres and surrounded by splendid oak and sabine groves, which have been declared as national patrimony. From the visit to the village itself with its cellars, the romanesque church from the century XII where it stands out with its apsis ornamented with figures engraved in the stone corbils, the romanesque font, the Washing-place, the Pastorate House and its hermitages of San Ginés and of Talamanquilla, this last in a valley surrounded by sabine and pine groves; to the excursions by the vicinities of the village that will carry the visitor to know beautiful places.
