This route is very similar to the one that took you
to Doñasantos and to the Ermita de
Talamanquilla, but in this case you will go to
Talamanquilla through Las Hoces.
The excursion starts at the ending of the street
Alta, taking the path known as the path to Los
Pozos, when walked about one hundred metre you will
cross to find another path that flows between the
boundaries of the farmings. You will leave behind
the crossing to the left that would take us toward
La Cortadiza and then you will descend to the
first valley, also known as the first Hoz,
crossing the river and following the path until the
beginning of the next valley.
Once in the second valley it is not possible to
follow it up the river because it is impracticable
for the bikes, so that you will go to find a path
that flows parallel to the valley above the right
slope (east). This path also flows among sabine
groves and will take you to find the ending of the
valley, or the second Hoz, concretely in the
Larga Rock. You will descend to the river, at
this point you will see the landmarking for the
villages of Espinosa, Hortezuelos and
Doñasantos, and you will go to find the path
that takes to the west toward the Ermita de
Talamanquilla.
This path flows among pine groves, prairies and
farmings, and we will follow it till arrive to
Talamanquilla, where there are tables, seats and
a font of fresh water. We will come back to the
village following the path to the main road, where
we will turn to the left in order to descend El
Sendero till arrive to La Parada del Cid.
