The country holidays centre La Parada del Cid is located in a propitious place to make all kind of sports activities. These are some of the possibilities that we can undertake from the hotel:

1. Visit to Beehives. From the month of March to October, all saturdays, it will be possible to do Guided Visits with an specialist in Apiculture to beehives in the near village of Tejada, in the mountains of Cervera. The protections consisting in overall, gloves and mask will be provided when arrived to Tejada.

2. English Courses. Activity aimed at enterprise employees, it consists in Residential Courses about total immersion in english for executives and professionals. For more information about the activity: http://www.castillalanguages.com

3. Treking. A fit starting point for several excursions thanks to its location. Enjoying oneself with the different paths that there is in the village of Espinosa, which get in touch with other localities and that can be followed to discover remote places. These are some of the route examples that you can follow:

4. Mountain Bike. In order to enjoy with walks through the parcel paths in the locality or with walks through mountain paths, the country holidays centre La Parada del Cid has at your's disposal of mountain bikes. And here below we show some of the route examples you can follow (through paths without traffic):

5. Caves. In the region there exist some caves, being the most known the caves of San García in the locality of Briongos de Cervera. Although they are not very longest, it is recommended to go well equiped in order to visit them. As the caves are in the locality of Briongos, it is very important to confirm with the town council that they remain opened and can be visited.

6. Fauna Observation. In the fauna of this region we can observe several kind of animals. From the golden eagle, to the vulture, and the partridge. There are also roe deers, deers and wild boars. In the following link we show the areas where, and with luck, you will can observe examples of these animals in their natural habitat.

7. Mushroom Collection. A tradition and popular custom that can be played in some places of the region and during some periods of the year. Autumn is the season during which appear the majority, however it is also possible to find them in summer, if rains. And during the spring it can appear some species.
A place where this activity is very played are the pine groves in La Ermita, being in autumn the collection of the milk cap, or lactarius deliciosus, a regular practice.

8. Horse Riding - Routes. Half an hour is the time you need to go from La Parada del Cid to the Equestrian Centre "La Galinda", where you will enjoy with an activity for all the family and for the friends discovering marvellous landscapes in the region.

9. Golf. It will take you fifty minutes to arrive to the town of Lerma, where you will can play golf in the "Club Golf Lerma". This club consists of a splendid installations and all kind of services to practise this sport.
